Kitchen cabinets from China

Coordinate cabinetry with the layout, appliances and installation team.

Define this part of the purchase

Use a kitchen-specific approval package with the relevant site measurements and appliance information. Ask the designer and installer to review the proposed arrangement before production. Keep cabinetry supply and local installation tasks explicit in the scope.

The OPPEIN kitchen detail provides a source-labelled product reference for a wood-grain scheme. Compare the selected door and carcass materials separately, then resolve handles, worktop relationships and appliance interfaces in the actual design. A finish name should connect to an approved physical or manufacturer reference.

Details to include in your enquiry

  • Measured plan and cabinet elevations
  • Appliance references and service locations
  • Cabinet, door and worktop specifications
  • Hardware and internal storage choices
  • Delivery and installation responsibilities

Connect each detail to the item reference and the supplier’s written response. Record which decisions require approval before the order progresses.

Keep the category connected to the master schedule

Record the agreed quantities, selected options and any outstanding questions before accepting the final proposal. Use stable item references across the quote, drawings where relevant, inspection records and packing list. When a change affects another supplier or the destination installer, update the master schedule and obtain the necessary review.

Develop the practical specification

Build one coordinated approval package

Bring cabinet plans, elevations, appliance references, worktop information and service locations into one reviewed package. Every document should identify the current revision and its approval status. If an appliance changes, review the adjacent panels, opening movement, service information and any fabricated top before release. A rendering can show a design direction, but it cannot carry all the technical information required for manufacture. Name the person responsible for coordinating the package and having the supplier acknowledge the final files.

Read component construction

Specify the cabinet box, back, front, shelves, edge treatments and hardware separately. A single material name does not describe the complete assembly. Ask how the box is joined, which areas are finished and how the sink cabinet or service cut-outs are treated. Flat-pack and assembled supply require different packing and installation arrangements; compare them in the context of the actual project. Keep the selected construction and hardware tied to the sample and drawing rather than relying on a general premium description.

Prepare installation and handover

Have the destination installer review the final drawings and manufacturer’s instructions before the products leave the factory. Clarify which fittings, service works and finishing tasks are included in the quotation. Link every package to the cabinet schedule and retain assembly information where it can be found on site. After installation, preserve the accepted drawings, appliance documents, finish references and care instructions together. Those records help later changes or repairs begin from the installed arrangement instead of an obsolete proposal.
